Welcome to the new website of the Swedish Radiation Protection Authority. The website was launched on the 1:st of July 2008 – the same day that the new authority was launched as a merge between the Swedish Radiation Safety Authority and the Swedish Nuclear Power Inspectorate.
The website is continuously under construction regarding content and functionality.
We would particularly point out that the English version of search is not yet complete. Please try to use the Swedish version, which will also present hits of the English website, or contact the authority if you cannot find what you are looking for.
As a visitor to the website you are likely to discover things that need correcting, or is missing completely. We value your opinion and comments that help us improve the website for all visitors. Please contact us here, or use the comment function at the bottom of the pages to send us your feedback.
If you have experience from the websites of the previous authorities, our aim is to develop this website to a higher standard, better functionality, improved content and easier navigation. Another goal has been to make the website as accessible as possible for all of our visitors.
Technology
To have the best possible experience from the website you should use a later version of a modern web browser like Internet Explorer, Firefox, Opera or Safari, but the website also works with older browsers and without java script.
The web pages are for web standards rather than a particular browser. They are published as XHTML 1.0 Transitional and the look and feel is controlled with CSS 2.1.

The website uses cookies. Cookies are small text files which are stored on the visitors' computer to track what the visitor is doing on the website.

This website uses a session cookie when the visitor orders publications. That way the visitor will not have to enter address information etc more than once, when ordering several publications.
No personal information about visitors is stored.
If you do not accept cookies, you can disable cookies in the browsers security settings. Cookies stored earlier can also be deleted, see the browser help for information about this.
